A quick and flavorful chicken dish topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil, perfect for a healthy dinner.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper

Cheese and Toppings

  • 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices fresh tomato (large and thick)

Garnish

  • to taste Chopped fresh basil
  • to taste Balsamic vinegar
  • to taste Balsamic reduction

Instructions 

  • Pat dry chicken breasts and season with Italian seasoning, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Place chicken in basket without overlapping.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, flip, then cook another 5 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Top each chicken with mozzarella and tomato slices, cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with basil and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and reduction.

Notes

Use fresh mozzarella for best flavor and meltability.
