A delicious fall-inspired pie combining tart cranberries and sweet apples with a buttery crumble topping.

(about 5 large peeled and cored apples)

(very cold and cubed)

Instructions
Prepare the pie crust and chill it.
Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cut in cold butter until crumbly; stir in oats and refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Roll out chilled dough, fit into pie dish, and refrigerate.
Combine apples, cranberries, sugar, flour, zest, and spices; fill pie crust and sprinkle crumble topping. Brush edges with egg wash.
Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes, then reduce to 375°F and bake 35-40 minutes until bubbling. Cool before serving.
Notes
Let the pie cool for at least 3 hours before slicing for best results.
