A delicious and nutritious smoothie perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout boost, combining fruits, protein, and optional superfoods.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 medium ripe banana (frozen works best for creaminess)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or any combination)

Add-ins

  • 1 scoop protein powder (about 25g)
  • 1 cup liquid base (milk, almond milk, oat milk, or yogurt thinned with water)
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes (omit if using frozen fruit)
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
  • 0.25 cup avocado (optional)
  • a handful spinach or kale (optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions 

  • Peel and break the banana into chunks; rinse berries.
  • Add liquid to the blender, then add banana, berries, protein, and optional boosters. Add ice if using fresh fruit.
  • Blend on low for 10-15 seconds, then high for 45-60 seconds until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust thickness or sweetness as needed.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with berries or granola if desired.

Notes

For creamier texture, use frozen banana and berries. Adjust sweetness with honey or syrup as preferred.
