Instructions
Cook rice: sauté rice in oil until golden, add garlic, onion, tomato sauce, broth, cumin, and salt; simmer until tender.
Cook beef: sauté onion and garlic, add ground beef, seasonings, tomato sauce, and broth; simmer until thickened.
Heat beans: combine beans with cumin, chili powder, and salt; warm through.
Assemble burritos: warm tortillas, layer beef, beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, and tomato; roll up tightly.
Toast burritos: cook in skillet until crispy, then cut and garnish with sour cream and cilantro.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chopped fresh cilantro or a squeeze of lime.
