A hearty and cheesy rice bowl featuring seasoned ground beef, garlic, and rich cheese sauces for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Rice and Beef

  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 4 minced garlic cloves garlic cloves
  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Sauté diced onion in 1 tbsp butter until soft (3-4 min).
  • Add ground beef; cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Stir in garlic; cook 1 min until fragrant.
  • Add rice, beef broth, salt, and pepper; bring to boil, then simmer 18-20 min until tender.
  • Melt remaining butter with milk, Parmesan, and cheddar until creamy; combine with beef and cook briefly.
  • Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped fresh parsley or a dash of Italian seasoning.
