A classic Caesar Salad with homemade croutons and creamy dressing, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
For the Dressing
1clovegarlic, minced
1teaspoonDijon mustard
2teaspoonsWorcestershire sauce
2tablespoonslemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1teaspoonanchovy paste (optional, but authentic)
½cupmayonnaise
¼cupgrated Parmesan cheese
to tasteSalt and freshly cracked black pepper
For the Croutons
2cupscubed bread (day-old works best)
2tablespoonsolive oil
1teaspoongarlic powder
Pinchof salt
For the Salad
1large headromaine lettuce, washed and chopped
Shaved or grated Parmesan cheesefor garnish
for servingFreshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden. Cool.
Whisk together garlic, mustard, Worcestershire, lemon juice, and anchovy paste. Add mayonnaise and Parmesan, whisk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, toss chopped lettuce with dressing. Add croutons and Parmesan. Serve with black pepper and lemon if desired.

Use day-old bread for best croutons and fresh Parmesan for authentic flavor.
