Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • to taste BBQ sauce or ketchup
  • for glaze Butter and Dijon mustard

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Prepare a baking dish with parchment or butter.
  • Sauté chopped onions until golden. Add ground beef, cook until no longer pink, then drain.
  • Mix beef with mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice rolls, layer bottom halves with cheese, beef mixture, then top with cheese. Cover with top halves.
  • Mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar; brush over sliders. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until heated through and golden. Slice and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add pickles or jalapeños before baking.
