A quick and flavorful pasta dish combining ground beef, taco seasonings, and melted cheese, topped with crunchy chips and sour cream.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 0.5 pound large shells pasta
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef

Vegetables

  • 1 medium yellow onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

Seasonings & Sauces

  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup jarred salsa

Cheese & Toppings

  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • Salt Salt to taste
  • Pepper Pepper to taste

Additional Toppings

  • Crushed tortilla chips Crushed tortilla chips
  • Sour cream Sour cream
  • Chopped parsley Chopped parsley

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet with oil, then drain excess fat.
  • Add onion and garlic, cook for 1 minute, then stir in seasonings, Worcestershire, water, and cook until water evaporates.
  • Mix in cooked pasta, salsa, and cheese; stir until combined and cheese melts.
  • Serve immediately topped with crushed chips, sour cream, and parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or more cheese on top.
