8ozpenne pasta(Cook according to package instructions.)
Chicken
2piecesboneless, skinless chicken breasts(Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.)
Sauces and Cheese
1cupmarinara sauce(Can be homemade or store-bought.)
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese(Use fresh for better melting.)
0.5cupgrated Parmesan cheese(Use fresh for better flavor.)
1teaspoonItalian seasoning

Instructions
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Slice into strips.
In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Add cooked pasta and chicken, stirring to combine.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover and cook until cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve hot.
