A hearty and comforting dish combining seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and melted cheese baked to perfection.

Instructions
Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add ground beef, season, and cook until browned. Let simmer.
Layer sliced potatoes in a buttered baking dish. Spread half the beef mixture over potatoes.
Add another layer of potatoes, then remaining beef, and top with final potato layer.
Pour cream over the casserole, cover with foil, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 50 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle cheese, and bake 10-12 minutes until golden. Rest before serving.
Notes
Use fresh potatoes for best results and ensure the casserole rests before serving for optimal flavor.
