A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 7 oz chicken breast (pounded to 1/2-inch thickness)

Seasonings

  • to taste black pepper black pepper (freshly ground preferred)
  • to taste salt salt

Dairy & Broth

  • 2 cups milk (whole milk for creamier sauce)
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine

Aromatics

  • 1 large garlic clove (minced)

Cheese & Cream

  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated, not pre-shredded)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or Kerrygold butter for richness)

Garnish

  • to taste parsley parsley (fresh, finely chopped)
  • additional for topping parmesan cheese (additional for topping)

Instructions 

  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt and black pepper, then cook in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add milk, chicken broth, heavy cream, and grated parmesan. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Slice cooked chicken and add to the sauce, then toss with cooked pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional parmesan before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan just before serving.
