Instructions
Mix all meatball ingredients, form into 2-inch balls, and bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes.
In a saucepan, combine water, cranberries, butter, sugar, and seasonings; bring to a boil and cook until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
Puree the sauce in a food processor, adjust thickness with water, and add sugar to taste.
Pour sauce into crockpot, add meatballs, and heat on low for 1 hour. Keep warm and serve.
Notes
For a richer flavor, simmer the sauce longer before adding meatballs.
