Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach (or frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish and Serving

  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Sliced toasted baguette or crackers
  • Carrot sticks or other veggies

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add spinach, cook until wilted or heated through, then cool slightly.
  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Fold in spinach, cheeses, and seasonings.
  • Transfer to an oven-safe dish, bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with bread, crackers, and veggies.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes or serve with extra hot sauce.
