Delight in these soft, buttery garlic knots topped with Parmesan and parsley, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or dried parsley)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Extra for sprinkling Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheet.
  • Roll out dough, cut into 1-inch wide strips, and tie into knots.
  • Bake knots for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  • Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and Parmesan.
  • Brush knots with garlic Parmesan butter, sprinkle with extra Parmesan, and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • Cool briefly and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
