Delicious and quick teriyaki beef bowls perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

Vegetables

  • 2 cups fresh vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)

Grain

  • 1 cup jasmine or basmati rice

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Cooking oil for sautéing

Instructions 

  • Cook rice according to package instructions.
  • Slice beef into strips against the grain.
  • Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make sauce.
  • Cook beef in oil until browned, then add vegetables and stir-fry.
  • Pour sauce over beef and veggies; cook for 1 minute.
