A quick and flavorful one-pan dish combining tender beef, garlic butter rice, and peas for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup long grain white rice, rinsed
  • 2.5 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Heat oil, cook beef with salt and pepper until browned, then set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add rice, cook 1-2 minutes, then pour in broth with thyme and paprika. Return beef, bring to boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in peas, cook 2-3 minutes, then garnish with parsley.

Notes

Ensure rice is rinsed well for best texture.
