A hearty and nutritious pasta dish combining lean beef, whole wheat pasta, and creamy Greek yogurt for a satisfying meal.

lean ground beef (90% lean recommended)

crushed tomatoes (no added sugar)

plain Greek yogurt (or ¼ cup light cream)

low-sodium beef broth

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a skillet; cook diced onion 3–4 minutes, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Add ground beef; cook 6–8 minutes until browned, then season with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika.
Stir in crushed tomatoes and beef broth; simmer 5 minutes, then reduce heat and mix in Greek yogurt until creamy.
Add cooked pasta and a splash of reserved water; toss to coat and cook 1–2 minutes. Rest 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add a little more Greek yogurt or light cream.
