A hearty and comforting casserole featuring layers of ground beef, potatoes, and cheese.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown ground beef for 5-7 minutes; drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
Spread beef mixture in the baking dish. Layer potatoes on top, season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
Sprinkle cheeses over potatoes and pour beef broth around the edges.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Notes
For added creaminess, include milk in the recipe.
