A fresh and crunchy salad combining crisp Honeycrisp apples, tender broccoli, and a tangy dressing, perfect for a healthy snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Combine broccoli, apple, cranberries, pecans, onion, and cheese in a large bowl.
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon before serving.
