Instructions
Sauté the ground beef until no pink remains.
Add onions and garlic; cook until translucent, 5-7 minutes.
Add broth, tomatoes, spices, and bay leaves; season and stir well. Cook covered for 20 minutes.
Add pasta, cover, and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove lid, cook for 10 minutes until thickened, then stir in shredded cheese. Serve topped with sour cream and paprika if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce.
