A delicious and wholesome dish featuring tender turkey skewers, roasted sweet potatoes, and a creamy coconut yogurt dip, perfect for a low histamine diet.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 500 g fresh turkey breast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (if tolerated)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika (if tolerated)

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp unsweetened coconut yogurt
  • 2 cooked egg yolks (if tolerated) cooked egg yolks (if tolerated)

  • 1 tsp chopped dill
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley

Instructions 

  • Cut the turkey into large cubes and marinate with oil, maple syrup, herbs, and salt for 20–30 minutes.
  • Thread turkey onto skewers and cook at 200°C for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway.
  • Slice sweet potato into wedges, toss with oil and seasonings, and roast at 200°C for 25–30 minutes.
  • Mash egg yolks with coconut yogurt, add herbs, salt, garlic powder, and water for a creamy dip.
  • Serve skewers with roasted sweet potato, dip, and greens.

Notes

Adjust spices according to tolerance. Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
