A rich and creamy beef and rice dish infused with garlic and cheese, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

Meat and grains

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 cup Long-grain white rice

Dairy and fats

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese

Broth and seasonings

  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Fresh herbs and garnish

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 green onions Green onions (sliced)

Instructions 

  • Cook ground beef until browned, then set aside.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet, cook onion until soft, then add garlic.
  • Return beef, add rice, toast for 1 minute, then pour in broth and seasonings. Simmer until rice is tender.
  • Stir in cream cheese, heavy cream, and cheeses until smooth. Rest briefly, then garnish and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or paprika.
