Instructions
Cook onions in butter and oil with salt until deep golden and jammy, 25–30 minutes.
Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickles, pickle juice, garlic, onion powders, paprika, salt, and pepper; chill.
Form beef into 12 loose balls, flatten, and sear in a hot skillet; top with cheese to melt.
Toast buns with butter, assemble sliders with sauce, patties, onions, pickles, and optional lettuce.
