These savory mini cheeseburger sliders are topped with sweet caramelized onions and tangy pickles, perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Dairy and Oils

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Vegetables

  • 2 large yellow onions (thinly sliced)

Meat

  • 1.5 lb ground beef (80/20)

Seasonings

  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Buns and Cheese

  • 12 mini brioche slider buns buns
  • 6 slices American cheese (halved (12 pieces))

Pickles

  • 24-36 dill pickle chips dill pickle chips
  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp finely minced dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Optional Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (optional)

Instructions 

  • Cook onions in butter and oil with salt until deep golden and jammy, 25–30 minutes.
  • Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickles, pickle juice, garlic, onion powders, paprika, salt, and pepper; chill.
  • Form beef into 12 loose balls, flatten, and sear in a hot skillet; top with cheese to melt.
  • Toast buns with butter, assemble sliders with sauce, patties, onions, pickles, and optional lettuce.

Notes

Use high-quality beef for best flavor and melt the cheese just before serving.
