This easy no-knead bread infused with fresh rosemary offers a fragrant, crusty loaf with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/3 cup fresh rosemary leaves (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, salt, rosemary, and yeast in a large bowl. Combine honey with warm water and add to dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  • Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 3-4 hours until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  • Shape the dough into a ball on a floured surface. Place into the hot Dutch oven, score the top, and cover.
  • Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Using fresh rosemary adds a wonderful aroma and flavor to the bread.
