  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni

Instructions 

  • Cook ground beef in a large skillet until browned, then add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  • Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine cooked macaroni with the meat mixture. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Optional: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the goulash simmer longer or add a splash of hot sauce.
