A flavorful and easy one-pot meal combining spicy Cajun seasoning, tender beef, and creamy pasta for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef

Vegetables

  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 diced bell pepper

Canned Goods

  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz) (undrained)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Oils & Dairy

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • chopped parsley chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Cook ground beef until browned, then set aside.
  • Sauté diced onion and bell pepper until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Return beef to the pot, add Cajun seasoning, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Add pasta, simmer covered for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in heavy cream, cook for 2-3 minutes, then add Parmesan cheese. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot for best flavor.
