A creamy, flavorful one-pot dish combining tender honey BBQ chicken with cheesy pasta for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb diced chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup sugar-free BBQ sauce (or regular)

Pasta

  • 2 cups elbow pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1 cup fat-free evaporated milk
  • 4 oz reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1 tsp chicken stock powder
  • 1 ½ cups shredded light cheddar cheese

Instructions 

  • Coat chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook chicken in a pan for 4 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Drizzle honey and BBQ sauce over chicken and stir.
  • Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  • In the same pan, heat evaporated milk and stir in cream cheese until smooth. Add stock powder and melt in cheese.
  • Stir in cooked pasta and add honey BBQ chicken, mixing gently.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or chives.
