Delight in these flaky puff pastry twists infused with Parmesan and herbs, perfect for snacking or entertaining.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 1.5 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon sea salt flakes (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Unfold puff pastry sheets on a floured surface. Beat eggs until smooth.
  • Mix Parmesan, rosemary, garlic powder, and black pepper. Brush pastry with egg wash, sprinkle with cheese mixture, then top with second sheet to form a sandwich.
  • Cut layered pastry into 1/2 inch strips, twist each, and place on baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Press ends to prevent unraveling.
  • Brush twists with melted butter, sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture and sea salt. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before serving warm. Enjoy these cheesy, flaky treats!

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle additional Parmesan on top before baking.
