Delicious and cheesy quesadillas filled with savory steak and optional vegetables, perfect for a quick meal.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 4 pieces Flour tortillas
  • 1 pound pounds Steak (sliced thin)
  • 1 cup cups Cheese (Cheddar or Provolone) (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Onions (optional) (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Peppers (optional) (sliced)
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoons Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook sliced steak until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Sauté onions and peppers until soft, about 3 minutes.
  • Place a tortilla in the skillet, add steak, vegetables, cheese, then top with another tortilla.
  • Cook until bottom is crispy and cheese melts, flip and cook other side.
  • Cut into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Use a non-stick skillet for easier flipping and cleanup.
