This hearty beef brisket is slow-cooked to perfection with a rich, flavorful sauce, making it an easy and satisfying meal.
Ingredients

beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat

olive oil

onion, sliced

garlic, minced

beef broth

barbecue sauce (or tomato sauce for a lighter option)

Worcestershire sauce

brown sugar

smoked paprika
to taste
Salt and black pepper
(for seasoning)

Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Season brisket with salt and pepper, then sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in the same pot until softened.
Add beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and paprika. Simmer briefly.
Return brisket to the pot, cover, and bake for 3–4 hours until fork-tender.
Shred or slice the brisket, spoon sauce over, and garnish with herbs. Serve with sides.
Notes
For best results, let the brisket rest before slicing.
