These flavorful Southwest Chicken Wonton Cups are perfect for a quick appetizer or snack, combining seasoned chicken, cheese, and colorful peppers in crispy wonton shells.

Ingredients

Wonton Wrappers

  • 1 package wonton wrappers (24 count)
  • 1.5 pounds cooked chicken (diced)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Southwest Seasoning
  • 0.5 cup diced green pepper
  • 0.5 cup diced red pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray muffin pans with cooking spray.
  • Place one wonton wrapper in each cup; bake 8-10 minutes until lightly brown. Cool.
  • Mix chicken, sour cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Combine cheese with Southwest Seasoning.
  • Fill wonton cups with chicken mixture, sprinkle with cheese and peppers. Bake 10 minutes until golden and melted.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped cilantro or a squeeze of lime before serving.
