Delicious bite-sized appetizers combining spinach, artichokes, and cheesy goodness, perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cups frozen spinach, (chopped and thawed)
  • 6 ounces artichoke hearts, (drained and chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, (grated)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, (softened)
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese, (shredded and divided)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt (with parsley flakes)
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 8-ounce can refrigerated seamless crescent dough

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix spinach, artichokes, garlic, and Parmesan; blend in cream cheese and half of mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stretch dough to an 8x12 inch rectangle; cut into 2-inch squares.
  • Place squares in greased mini muffin tin; add a teaspoon of filling and top with remaining mozzarella.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden; cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh spinach for best flavor and texture.
