A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining lean ground turkey with vegetables and teriyaki sauce, served over rice.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1.5 cups chopped white onion
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (chopped small)
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1.5 cups shredded carrots
  • 1.5 cups teriyaki sauce
  • 4 cups cooked rice (to serve with (optional))

Instructions 

  • Cook 4 cups of rice according to package instructions.
  • Heat oil, sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
  • Add ground turkey, cook until no longer pink.
  • Stir in broccoli, carrots, peas; cook until vegetables are tender.
  • Pour in teriyaki sauce, cook for 2 minutes to heat through.
  • Serve the turkey mixture over rice and enjoy.

Notes

You can add sesame seeds or green onions for extra flavor.
